A comprehensive hearing evaluation gives us a clear picture of how well you're hearing and helps identify areas where you may be having difficulty. Your appointment begins with a conversation about your hearing, your concerns, and the situations where you're having the most trouble. We'll also examine your ears before beginning the hearing evaluation.

Your evaluation includes air- and bone-conduction testing along with speech testing to measure how softly you can hear and how clearly you understand speech. Afterward, we'll review your results together in plain language and answer your questions. If hearing aids or another next step may be appropriate, we'll discuss your options—without pressure.
